| I don't have easy access to a copying machine. Is there somewhere on the web that has the character sheet from the big, purple book so that I can print it out? |

Page 107 of the rules here: http://www.fudgerpg.com/fudge.html
And of course, the character sheet listed. And there are others. |

Any suggestions on how to do a "space opera" thing? What will I need to take into consideration? |
Well, I decided to just use Five-Point Fudge rather than try to come up with my own attributes and such. It looks like it will work well enough. I've got the characters already generated. The characters will be the officers of a freighter that has been hired to take the daughter of the President of the Ceres Collective to the Martian Confederation so she can go to university. Considering the name of the scenario, I'm sure you can guess what will happen. |

| Well, pirates are always fun, in any genre. Plus it sounds like you have the standard action in media res kick off, which works perfectly for cons and is only really a standard for them. Remember there is an actual play section to report out. |

| I got sick right before the con so I didn't go. I might run this scenario at a convention called TimeGate in May. |

| Well that sucks. Hope you make the next one, and in the meantime, trial runs. Fudge IRC channel, and I'll just let the picture come from the pointillism. |

Timegate(www.timegatecon.org) started as a mini-convention focused on two TV shows: Stargate and Dr.Who. It has since expanded to a three day convention that covers many aspects of geekdom other than those two shows.
I am going to run a Fudge scenario at the con but it won't be the space pirate thing. It will be called Enter the Timegate and will involve both the Stargate and Dr.Who backgrounds in one scenario.
I'm the new Gaming Director for the con. I was able to get some interesting RPGs scheduled including several FATE games. |

| We recently updated the gaming page at the TimeGate website. Now, it has full RPG descriptions. Take a look and tell me what you think. |

How about this: "Makes me really wish I had taken that posting to Atlanta."
That a good enough kudos? _________________ If a Hero's armour is still shining he either has never used it or spends too much time polishing it. Armour is intended to be used and a Hero's worth should be measured in his armour's scars and dents as well as his own. |

Well, we had kind of a low turn out for gaming at TimeGate. Certainly fewer people than last year. Not all the RPGs were run but the folks seemed to enjoy the ones that did take place. I didn't get enough people so I did not run my "Enter the TimeGate" scenario. I'll try to do it next year.
However, I have signed up at Dragon*Con to run the "Pirates of the Asteroid Belt" scenario. Are any of you going to be at the con? |
